Artifice is my ninth bronze created. I made this entirely myself and it's based on a live model that posed for me in 2008. Artifice means "deception" and it’s my matching sculpture to “Volnus” I made in 2013.

The polished bronze is lacquered and waxed multiple times for a durable finish that'll last decades with little maintenance. I can customize the patina or base at your request.

Artifice is my homage to the Angels who fell with Lucifer. I imagined their great disillusionment and injury suffered by deception and betrayal to Jesus as portrayed in the in the Urantia Book.

The First Artist Proof (AP1) sold, but I have all the molds to complete Limited Edition copies upon request. I'm currently making a Second Artist's Proof AP2 in my foundry now.
